Swells is the full-length debut from Work Drugs's Thomas Crystal, and will be officially released on May 19. Soaking in the sunshine and sea breeze, one is whimsically transported onto an island or beach setting. However, while situated in those favorable conditions, the collection lyrically describes emotive tales of love and loss. Step into the cool evening sand, and reflect in the smooth wave.

Work Drugs's Thomas Crystal shares a woozy, "Michigan-era, Sufjan-inspired" cover of The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face." It's off the Canadian artist's latest chart-topping LP Beauty Behind The Madness. Crystal will be joining the rest of the band tomorrow night at Johnny Brenda's for their 5th annual Works Drugs Holiday Spectacle with Kississippi and Kate Faust. 

Work Drugs' Thomas Crystal has a new solo project. Below is its first single, the dreamy "Greener Pastures." (Hopefully, this title isn't a hint at what the future holds for Crystal and Work Drugs.) The track will appear on his debut six-song EP Tinders, which is due to drop on May 5.
