New Track: "Can't Feel My Face" (The Weeknd Cover) - Thomas Crystal

Work Drugs's Thomas Crystal shares a woozy, "Michigan-era, Sufjan-inspired" cover of The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face." It's off the Canadian artist's latest chart-topping LP Beauty Behind The Madness. Crystal will be joining the rest of the band tomorrow night at Johnny Brenda's for their 5th annual Works Drugs Holiday Spectacle with Kississippi and Kate Faust

New Work Drugs LP Available for Streaming

Local yacht-rock outfit Work Drugs has made its latest full-length album Louisa available for streaming (below). The LP officially comes out this Friday, August 7, and was recorded at Salmon Street Studios in Port Richmond. Work Drugs will perform next in Philly on Thursday, September 10 at Boot & Saddle.

Yacht rockers Work Drugs are gearing up to launch their new album Louisa on August 7 via Bobby Cahn Records. They also plan to make a run through California in the fall, and return home to perform on Tuesday, September 10 at Boot & Saddle. New Music Video: "Hey Nineteen" - Work Drugs

Oh man - if we ever had beaches close to us like the ones in the new music video for Work Drugs's "Hey Nineteen," we might actually leave Philly for the weekend. Though the band is not shy about its love for Steely Dan, this is definitely not a cover. It's the latest single from the group's upcoming album Louisa, whose release has been pushed back to later this summer.

Free Download: "Minor Flaws" - Work Drugs

Work Drugs continue to roll out tunes from their upcoming album Louisa. Below is its third single entitled "Minor Flaws." It was written "about memories (good and bad), and how we tend to re-imagine them over time, often to our own detriment." The band will be headlining Johnny Brenda's tomorrow night with support from Tutlie and The Chairman Dances.
