New Track: "Lil Dreamer" - Davey and the Chains

Shimmy, the forthcoming full-length LP from Davey and the Chains, is due out September 14 via Tank Beach Tapes. Strands of slide guitar merge into backend, crafting an airy, infectious groove on “Lil Dreamer”. A breakup song told as a tale of escape and moving on; the single feels like cool breeze while traveling in the twilight. A crisp R&B/soul vibe lifts in a rejuvenating, dance-generating sense of freedom.

Single Premiere: Shi la Rosa “Space Queen”

We are proud to be able to premiere the new single, “Space Queen” from local Indie Pop musician Shi La Rosa. This is the alter ego of Rachel Colonna who release her debut EP, “Sometimes I Think Of You”, in collaboration with producer and multi-instrumentalist Sink Slow back in 2017.

“Space Queen” blend elements of disco, jazz, and radio-ready pop to create a track that is both sultry and danceable. This is a perfect end of summer backyard banger.

Frills share soaring new single “Drunk Girls, Drunk Boys”

Fall and the cold weather that follows are beginning to loom over the city, but don’t worry, summer isn’t over quite yet. For anyone in need of a power-up to boot and rally into the final round of warm weather, Frills has something valuable. The Brooklyn duo’s latest single “Drunk Girls, Drunk Boys” is a towering electro-pop track wearing its intentions on its sleeves. If the title doesn’t make it clear, the sing-a-long chorus and night-out verses will: this is music for letting loose and not caring. "Drunk Girls, Drunk Boys" follows a similarly excellent summer single "She's Got Love" which the group released in May with an accompanying music video– Cameron Carr
