New Shannen Moser LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Shannen Moser's new LP, Oh, My Heart, rekindles her personal-threaded folk, creating reflective anecdotes that dig into the earnest environment. While acoustic guitar serves as the instrumental foundation, accents of keys, cello and trumpet aid in accentuating a vivid atmosphere. The album was recorded/mixed/mastered by Eric Muth at The Enscoe's Barn in Earlville, NY and The Knife Lair in Philly. Moser is slated to perform at Kung Fu Necktie on Tuesday, January 17 with Endless Mike and The Beagle Club, Maxwell Stern, and Spenser Colmbs.

Brooklyn-based Paris Monster drops new electro-blues track "Ain't No Movin' Me"

Armed with an arsenal of synth sounds, soaring vocals, and experimental electronic vibes, Paris Monster weaves effortlessly across genres and decisive categorization. On his latest release, "Ain't No Movin' Me," the Brooklyn-based act showcases its prowess for hook writing/crafting a track that could stand without accompaniment as a blues-y, spirtual declaration, but is launched into another realm by its bed of synths and echoing choruses. An inspired take on blues-folk that's both hypnotic and engaging, Paris Monster's sound seems to edge toward what could be the new face of American roots rock. Check out his new single streaming below. - Olivia Sisinni

New Track: "Do Worry" - Marry Lattimore

Mary Lattimore tweeted yesterday, "Made a new kinda corny song today, very rough draft, very imperfect but from the heart. I'll prob hate it tomorrow!" Whether this is a demo or something that Lattimore becomes more comfortable with today as the final result, "Do Worry," which sounds like an ominous warning in this current, turbulent social/political climate, is juxtaposed by the serene composition that actually instills feelings of hope towards its conclusion. Or maybe that's just how we're interpreting it because we could use a bit of hope these days. Whatever it may be, it certainly doesn't sound corny to us. Mary Lattimore will be performing next in Philly on Tuesday, January 31 at Union Transfer supporting Parquet Courts.

New Track: "All In" (Feat. Cynthia G. Mason) - Sun Airway

Before 2016 ended, we were delighted by the news of Sun Airway's return after a four-year hiatus with his single "FOAM". And now, just barely into 2017, we are treated once again to the second sampling from his forthcoming LP, Heraldic Black Cherry, called "All In". The vibrant calm of Sun Airway's latest track also features backing vocals by Philly singer-songwriter Cynthia G. Mason.

Satellite Mode unveils new single + plays Irving Plaza tonight (01.06)

We gave NYC's indie pop duo Satellite Mode a "Buzz Alert" back in November (yo, when we say it, we mean it!), and we are glad today to find out they are playing Irving Plaza... tonight! These guys just released a new single, entitled 'Warm Fire Lightning' (streaming below) that confirms their talent what good we had to say about them a couple of months ago. This is quality pop that feels timeless. If you move fast, you might still be able to grab a ticket for tonight's show, they are opening for Great Good Fine OK. If not, well... enjoy the new single!
